Activity: Segway

Distance from glamping site: 35 minute drive
These two love a days outdoor activities and we were lucky enough to have a few hours away from the farm this week. We headed for an adventure that we had never tried before, on a Segway safari.
Less than 40 minutes away from the glamping site this spot works in well with a look around Corbridge or Hexham. There are lots of activities to choose from including quad bikes, shooting, axe throwing, archery and much more.
Our instructor kitted us up with the relevant safety gear then made sure that we were safe and happy to drive the Segways then off we went. Our trip included touring around the grounds of Slaley Hall Golf Course and some off roading through woodlands.
We really enjoyed the experience, it’s something we’ve never tried before and we could enjoy together.
It’s definitely one that is going into the guest guide!
